Find the help you need with 'Help A Researcher Out'

No researcher - or their work - is an island.

Whether you are looking to crowd-source knowledge, experience, or perspectives from stakeholders or other researchers, find collaborators, or want to ask for any other kind of assistance, getting the right connections to support research can be tricky. Help A Researcher Out* is a free service that can help you find those connections - and the assistance you need.

The service is very simple. All you need to do is send a short overview of who you are, what you are working on, and what help you need (and from who - the audience is very diverse). Your post can include any relevant links, and any images/videos that help explain what you are doing. Here are a couple of examples that can help you structure your post. The request is then shared on this website as well as multiple times on social media and in the Ocean Oculus newsletter. Easy right!
